Approved by CAPES in December 2011, the Professional Master's Degree in Biomedical Research course has as its main objective to train masters who work or will work in public or private companies, highly trained in the most diverse technical-scientific activities of the latest generation in the Biomedical area. The Program has a grade of 4 in CAPES (on a scale of up to 5 for Masters) and its target audience is professionals with higher education (3rd degree) in any area of knowledge of Science or related areas.

Students have access to more than 50 modern research laboratories and multi-user equipment platforms that offer excellent infrastructure and state-of-the-art techniques. Graduate training takes place in a dynamic, current, and intellectually stimulating environment.
Course Goal
To train highly specialized and capable masters to act as transformers, innovators and critics of the methodologies used in biomedical scientific research. We also hope that this Postgraduate Program will consolidate the Career Plan for Technical Personnel in Education that encourages technical training, with a positive short-term impact on scientific activity carried out in Brazil.
