
The Graduate Program in Biological Sciences – Physiology - was accredited by CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel) in December 1996, at the Master's and Doctoral levels, which leads to obtaining Master's title in Biological Sciences (Physiology ) and Ph.D. title, with academic and technical-scientific quality. The Program is rated 7 at CAPES and has been an important source of training for qualified professionals for teaching and research.
